Gender Equality in Research
The main targets of institutional change for gender equality in research are to advance the representation of women in research with a goal of parity (1:1) and to integrate the gender dimension in research and innovation content.
- Gender equality in research, respect for gender and sexual identities, and diversity in the researchenvironment, as well as a range of best practices in terms of gender issues are the three pillars of the Code of Conduct for Gender Equality in Research of the UoC. The Code will be an annex of the Guide for Financing and Management (GFM) of the Special Account of Research Funds, University of Crete. Basic principles of gender equality in research have been included in the GFM.
